"One has to be happy where they're at before they'll be happy where they'll be. " The present, when unchanged, becomes the future. If a person is happy now, it aids in being happy in the future; if one is not happy now, the future is likely to be the same. One can always pull themselves out of unhappiness.
"Beauty can come from suffering, but suffering cannot come from beauty. " Good may come from evil, but evil cannot come from good. The suffering soul can come upward toward the beauty of life; while he may still suffer, that suffering does not come from that beauty.
"Intelligence gives work for the mind, wisdom, its meaning. " The mind is meant to analyze, interpret, and be conscious. Exposure plus analysis equals intelligence. Wisdom determines the life choices which are best for the mind, and therefore helps one to make decisions.
"Man is destroyed by his own creation; God creates out of man's destruction. " Man is flawed; therefore, what he creates of his own will is fallible, and leads to destruction; God, in his wisdom can create out of man's destructive state.

" The thorns of an individual's life shape and mold them in such a manner as to appreciate the joys of life that eventually come. The roses of someone else's life may not be as complete, if they haven't experienced many thorns.
"The evil gain to lose; the good lose to gain." Those of an evil nature may have gained plenty, but eventually it will be a loss, even as their souls are lost. They have gained that they also shall lose. The good may lose in the beginning, but they have a sure end. All that they have lost will really be gain in the end.
"Knowledge precedes power and imagination rules the world. " Without knowledge, power is eventually lost. Imagination is the preface to the book of abundant life. The abundance of life is determined by the imagination.
"There is a foundation of truth for the building of righteousness. " Righteousness is built on the foundation of truth. Truth determines every action that counters falsehood. Without truth, there can be no righteousness.
"One should deal with life by the matter of fact, rather than the matter of opinion. " Life is a matter of fact, not a matter of opinion. When life happens, our opinions don't matter; we have to factually determine how we will respond to each situation.
"The greater the pain, the greater the gain." Pain precedes pleasure. To suffer is to learn; to learn is to grow, and to grow is to become complete.
"Seed planted today becomes the fruit of tomorrow." Those things which we prepare for today yield a plentiful crop in the future. As we live each day, we should take heart to accomplish today's work, while planning for tomorrow's yield.
"You can't have a better tomorrow unless you focus on today. " Today's moment in time is all that we currently have. Focusing on the nonexistent future robs you of the present.
"Don't fear the end; end the fear." At the end of every journey, there is a stoppage. We as people should not fear this stoppage, for after one journey stops, another begins. There is nothing to fear.
"One doesn't need to take care of the truth; the truth will take care of itself. " The truth is complete, with no missing parts. It does not need help from other sources to maintain its worth. It is priceless.
"There is no pain as great as the struggle, and no tragedy worst than not struggling. " In life struggling is the process by which we grow. We struggle, and learn from it, then we struggle again. To not struggle is to remain stuck; to struggle is to make improvements upon our lives.
"Those who lie in wait to conquer the truth, in the end, themselves, will be conquered. " The truth is unconquerable, undiminished, and everlasting, and is without a formidable foe.
"The truth is a hard pill to swallow, but if you don't swallow it, you'll keep getting sick." Living in falsehood is burdensome, but truthful living lifts burdens.
"There is a seed of greatness in every garden of hope." Hope is the messenger which allows the message of greatness to spring forth.
"The potential is more important than the process. " An agent is more important than the action it takes.
"If you question the truth, you will receive a false answer." To question something that is true true brings you into the position of accepting falsehood.
"He who is afraid of failure will never succeed." Success is only guaranteed to those who also have failed.

"Struggle is the seed, success, the garden. " The garden of our minds has been equipped to deal with struggle. With the seed of struggle, the garden of our minds yields a crop of success. The seed is the humanity of man, while success is the result of his struggle. The seed is watered by man's work, while ultimate success is given by his God.
"A life unfulfilled is a life badly lived." We must fulfill our wildest dreams.
"War is always at war with peace." War creates violence; peace creates serenity.
"Understanding itself is the knowledge of the lack of understanding." Although we are able to understand, when we realize what we know, there is even more knowledge to understand, that we are unable to comprehend.

"If you don't learn from your forbears, you have nothing to bear forth." This quote is an original, as will be all others on this page. Basically, this quote establishes the fact that as we learn from others who came before us, our lives are enhanced.
